Country Focus Roundtable:
Exploring New International Growth Markets for Takaful

The 5th Annual World Takaful Conference (WTC 2010), the world's largest gathering of Islamic insurance industry leaders, will feature, in addition to high-profile keynote sessions, a series of interactive roundtable debates. The Country Focus Roundtable includes a panel of international experts representing exciting new growth markets for Islamic insurance, with a special focus on: Malaysia, South Africa, UAE, Pakistan, Ireland, and Italy

Notwithstanding the impact of the recent recessionary environment, the Takaful market continues to hold significant potential and is well placed to capitalise on growth opportunities in key markets. The Country Focus Roundtable at WTC 2010 will be a unique platform to hear first-hand what initiatives are underway in key emerging markets for Takaful. International panelists will examine the appetite and potential for Takaful in key Islamic and non-Islamic geographies as well as look at what regulatory frameworks are being put in place to enable industry development.
